Optional Workshop – Conquering Cardiology: Mastering the EKG (Day 1; 4 – 6:30 pm)

It’s not too late to sign up! In this 2.5 hours hands-on course, we will cover all these things and more! We will discuss reciprocal changes and contiguous leads. You will get a chance to draw them on your sample EKG and make it into a cheat sheet you can use in the clinic. You will go hands-on in your workbook with 17 EKGs in class using pattern recognition to spot the high-risk findings. This hands-on approach helps you “put it all together” finally. If you feel overwhelmed by all the things we have to know but don’t know where to start, this is a quick condensed course that only focuses on the high-risk findings you need to know to be a safe provider.

Getting Around
Sandestin provides complimentary tram service to their guests. In order to access this amenity, please show your Sandestin room key upon getting on the trams. Without a Sandestin room key, you will not be able to utilize this service. Sandestin’s complimentary tram system runs daily, 7 days a week, from 8:30 am – 12:00 am.
As part of our conference, we’ve arranged for extended, early service to assist you in getting to our meeting. Starting on Tuesday, June 8th thru Friday, June 11th, Sandestin’s blue and yellow routes will begin service at 6:30 am with service to the Skin, Bones, Hearts and Private Parts conference.

Parking: For those that would like to drive directly to the event, they can do so by going to the Linkside Exhibit Hall, located at:

Complimentary parking is available on either side of the overpass. The only restricted parking lot is the Bay Club lot – multiple ‘no parking’ signs are located on this lot.
Meal Plans
Breakfast/Lunch: Breakfast will be provided as part of your registration and will be available Tuesday – Friday from 6:30 – 8:00 am. Refreshments will be served throughout the day as well. Please refer to the final schedule for times. Lunch is on your own.
Beverage Service: Provided each day of the conference.
