Get to Know CME Conference Speakers Ready for 2024!

We consider our speakers are our “secret sauce,” with their engaging presentation styles, thought leadership, and content designed to keep physicians, physician assistants (PAs), nurse practitioners (NPs) and registered nurses (RNs) at the top of their game. This year, we have an especially great lineup for our Continuing Medical Education (CME) Conferences. Whether you plan to attend in-person or virtually, we’ve made it easy for you to get to know some of our CME conference speakers – and see and hear for yourself what you’ll learn!

Our 2024 CME Conference Speakers

In a series of short videos on our YouTube channel, you can meet Gina Mangin, MPAS, PA-C, dermatology; Gerald Weniger, PhD, ATC, PA-C, orthopedics; Aleece Fosnight, PA-C, CSC-S, CSE, NCMP, women’s health; Zack Lerner, DNP, ARN, orthopedics; Jeremy Adler, DMSc, PA-C, DFAAPA, pain management and pharmacology; Kristin Rygg, PA-C, dermatology; Nancy Berman, MSN, ANP-BC, NCMP, FAANP, women’s health, and others. In addition to learning about some of the topics they’ll discuss with CME Conference attendees, you’ll also hear them encouraging attendees to ask questions, come up and say hello, and get to know each other throughout our four-day CME Conferences – and we hope you’ll take them up on it. Being able to put a face to a name, network, and create friendships are all integral ingredients to a great conference experience – and it helps form the kind of community that we’re known for! (This advice applies for online learners, as well: Our virtual attendees watch sessions in real-time and can ask questions

“I’m so excited to be joining the Skin, Bones, Hearts & Private Parts CME Conference series again,” you’ll hear Fosnight share in one of her reels. “I’ll be talking about all things women’s health, and one of the really hot topics that we have going on – no pun intended – is menopause. We’re going to come up with a playbook that you can take with you to address all of the things that women going through menopause may experience, like hot flashes, vasomotor symptoms, and osteoporosis screenings, and we’ll talk about evidence-based medications and treatment options that are available for our patients, including updated medications.

“In my sessions, we’ll be talking about pain management, with a particular deep focus into opioid management. Many agree this is a complex and difficult part of their practice, particularly when it comes to helping patients with aberrant behaviors,” said Adler. “We’ll paint a common picture – a Friday afternoon, when a patient suddenly calls and says they’re out of meds – and I’ll share some pearls of our practice, such as the four Cs, to help explain how we handle those situations. We may cut down the quantity of meds if it’s a low-risk behavior, for example; we Check our state prescription drug monitoring program; we Collect a urine sample; and we Counsel the patient on appropriate med management. We think of it as bear hugging the patient through moments like these. We’ll be sharing many similar pearls throughout the Conference, and we look forward to seeing you there!”
