Website Updates Now LIVE!

April 28, 2026

At Skin, Bones, Hearts & Private Parts, we’re always working to make earning CME feel easier and be more fun, and with the latest round of updates to our website, we’ve taken further steps in achieving that goal.

First, we’ve heard from our attendees that being able to easily compare our On-demand and Virtual CME options would be a big help, and your wish is our command! Check out our new online comparison chart, where we lay out the differences between our four most popular options, including a description of each, total number of credit hours, number of speakers, total courses, and price for our Encore Virtual CME, Best of the Best 2025, Best of the Best 2024, and Virtual CME Conferences. With credits ranging from 26 to 37.5 CME hours and 20 to 30 courses, there’s a lot to compare – be sure to check it out today and make a plan for your next CME course.

Next, we know that CME credits for nurse practitioners (NPs), physician assistants (PAs), registered nurses (RNs), and physicians vary significantly by state, usually ranging from 20 to 150 hours every 1–3 years. Why do CME requirements vary so much? Because states—not the federal government—hold the authority to regulate medical licensure and practice, and, as a result, each state’s medical board independently defines its own licensing standards and requiring medical professionals in those states to familiarize themselves with their state’s required hours.

The process of figuring out what it means for YOU can be difficult, and to help, Skin, Bones, Hearts & Private parts has launched a new chart detailing CME requirements by state for NPs and PAs. By creating a comprehensive, state-by-state guide, we hope to take the stress out of trying to figure out each state’s unique requirements and make it much easier for physicians, NPs, PAs and RNs to figure out exactly what and how much CME they need! (While we’ve made every effort to ensure the information is accurate, each viewer is responsible for verifying their own state’s requirements.)

This will be particularly useful, we hope, for those who practice in multiple states. As the American Medical Association points out, “The one in five physicians who hold medical licenses in more than one state are often dealing with a system in which state medical licensing boards have differing CME requirements and without a common standard.”

With our updated website, take the guesswork out of it and make a plan for what you need! With every one of our 2026 In-person CME Conferences offering up to 26 CME credit hours, our conferences will be at the following locations:
