Women’s health is having a moment, with issues like menopause and bone health finally getting the attention they deserve. At Skin, Bones, Hearts & Private Parts, women’s health has always been a foundation of our curriculum, and as part of our Pensacola Beach-July, Hilton Head Island, Nashville, and Denver CME Conferences this year, Dr. Randee L. Masciola, a nationally certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner, will be covering both women’s and men’s sexual and reproductive health during a full-day session at each conference.
“I chose to present at the Skin, Bones, Heart & Private Parts conferences because they bring together passionate clinicians who are eager to learn, connect, and elevate patient care,” Dr. Masciola said. “What I’m looking forward to most is sharing practical insights that can be applied immediately in everyday practice and spark those ‘aha’ moments that make a real difference for providers, patients and the community.”
During the four CME Conferences, topics she will cover include contraceptives, Mgen, sexual health promotion and screening, sexual and reproductive health issues, and menopause management.
An associate clinical professor at The Ohio State University (OSU) and the Director of DNP Education, Dr. Masciola has more than 28 years of clinical experience. She serves on the Board of Directors of The National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculties (NONPF) and is a past board member of the National Association of Women’s Health Nurse Practitioners. She received the 2024 Outstanding Service to NONPF award and was awarded the Ohio March of Dimes 2020 Nurse of the Year Award for Academic Education. She is a fellow in American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the American Academy of Nursing.
She has authored multiple manuscripts, as well as three peer reviewed first authored book chapters for a career total of 25 publications. As a national clinical expert and expert in NP education, she has also accepted invitations to first author two more book chapters in 2026 on global advanced practice nursing education and male sexual and reproductive health.
“Dr. Masciola took the time to meet with me to clarify areas of improvement,” a student said. “She’s a great leader and mentor.” A fellow colleague wrote of Dr. Masciola, “I’ve gained so much knowledge and insight through our meetings and interactions. I truly appreciate your leadership style and collaboration.”
