The Future of Learning: Virtual CME Credits for NPs and PAs

Research has shown that continuing medical education (CME) not only improves patient outcomes but also saves lives. In fact, the Institute for Healthcare Improvement reports that “a key factor in closing the gap between best practice and common practice is the ability of health care providers and their organizations to rapidly spread innovations and new ideas.” As a result, with significant advances in technology, combined with lessons learned post-pandemic, and coupled with greater time and economic pressures on medical professionals, online CME is booming. That’s why at Skin, Bones, Hearts & Private Parts, we’ve made online CME an accessible, flexible, and increasingly essential option for thousands of nurse practitioners (NPs), physician assistants (PAs), registered nurses (RNs), and physicians. Now, you can earn the CME credits you need from anywhere in the world, at any time, and entirely at your own pace through our On-Demand and Virtual CME programs.

Let’s take a closer look at each option:

Virtual CME Conference

Register for an In-person CME Conference – and whether you decide to travel to the host city or tune in from home, our Virtual CME option allows NPs, PAs, RNs, and physicians to live stream directly from one of our live CME conferences, network with peers, and submit questions to the speakers live via the chat function. That could mean you attend some classes in-person and some from the beach or poolside, or maybe you’ll just tune into the entire conference from afar. No matter what you choose, you’ll experience the same great content with your peers, in real time. Also, we have one remaining In-person CME Conference of the year, from November 11-14 in Las Vegas, NV. (Earn up to 39 CME credits and 10.5 APRN Pharmacology credits.)

“Live streaming is the perfect way to maximize convenience and accountability,” added Cynthia Griffith, MPAS, PA-C, dermatology physician assistant in Dallas, Texas. “Log in during the conference and watch the lectures from your house or office, ask questions, and get them answered by the speaker so you don’t miss anything.”

Don’t let time, travel, or budget keep you from earning the CME you need. Check out our On-demand options today!
